The existing fence and the homeowner's objective
The property was enclosed by an old chain-link fence. Chain link does what it was built to do, which is mark a boundary, but it leaves the yard open to view from every direction. The homeowner wanted two things from the change: more privacy in the back yard, and a better look for the property overall. That pointed to a solid panel fence, and white vinyl was the material chosen for the replacement run of 86 linear feet.
Fence removal and installation
The job was handled as a single visit. The crew took out the old chain-link fence first, then set and built the new white vinyl privacy fence along the same 86 foot run, finishing removal and installation on one day. Working it that way meant the yard was not left standing open between visits, and the homeowner had a finished fence line at the end of the day rather than a job spread across a week.
The completed result
The finished run gives the back yard the enclosed, private feel the old chain link never could, and it changed how the property reads from the outside. The homeowner was satisfied with the result and felt more comfortable spending time outside afterward.
